METSummit09 is presented by the Chicago Booth High Tech Group and Media & Entertainment Group.
The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, formerly known as "The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business" and "Chicago GSB", is one of the leading business schools in the world, the second oldest in the United States, and the first to offer the Executive MBA (EMBA) program. The school was renamed in honor of David G. Booth of Dimensional Fund Advisors for his $300 million endowment on 6 November 2008.
Its flagship campus is located in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois on the grounds of the university at large. The school also maintains additional campuses in London and Singapore, and downtown on the Magnificent Mile. While recognized for the excellence of its graduate business programs in general, the school's research reputation is particularly notable in the fields of finance, economics, quantitative marketing and accounting. The school's global alumni network consists of leaders in for-profit, non-profit, governmental, public policy and academic enterprises.

The High-Tech Group is the home of technology business at Chicago Booth. We help Booth students pursue careers in the technology industry (in all functions), start technology companies, and invest in tech companies. We work closely with technology firms and venture capitalists who work in all technology fields, including cleantech, biotech / pharma, internet, mobile, software, media & entertainment, semiconductors, and more.

The Media & Entertainment Group is dedicated to connecting Booth students with career opportunities in media and entertainment and related industries. To accomplish this goal, this fast-growing and dynamic group raises awareness of M&E industries on campus, fosters networking opportunities with M&E executives (including many Booth alums), and convinces M&E firms that Chicago Booth is a vital source of talent.
